Who am I? That’s a good question. I’m a tech journalist with more than 15 years writing in the space. I’ve been reviewing consumer tech gadgets and devices since I was a member of the Alaska Apple Users Group back in the early 2000s, and been a professional reviewer of games, computer hardware, internet of things devices, smart home gadgets, PCs and Macs, e-bikes, 3D printers, and more since 2010.
I’ve written reviews for Engadget, Cult of Mac, Lifewire, 148Apps, and more, and hope to continue doing so here. I love digging into how products work for us, work against us, empower us, and generally make our lives a little better.
I love sharing my tech enthusiasm with products I genuinely believe in, not simply to get you to buy them, but to help you find the best one for YOU.
I may include affiliate links on the site (clicking on a link and buying a product could give me a little money in return), but I promise never to let that bias me. Honestly, at my scale, affiliate revenue is pretty darn small. Still, I’ll put a disclosure on every review that could potentially earn me money with a sale.
Bottom line, I think you deserve an experienced reviewer who takes a look at consumer tech devices like e-bikes, 3D printers, Macs, PCs, smartphones, and more and tells you what it’s like to use them. That way you can feel confident in purchasing (or skipping) any particular item.
So, what’s interesting to you today? Shoot me an email and let me know what you would like to see reviewed.
